This notice explains how Cat Sitting Cascais uses booking request details to reply, check availability and plan safe home visits for cats.

Data collected

We collect the details you submit: name, phone, optional email, area, dates, number of cats, visit rhythm, key/access notes, medication or care notes, message, consent, page URL and browser user agent.

Purpose and lawful basis

We use this data to reply to your request, check availability, prepare a visit plan and keep a clear record of the enquiry. The lawful basis is your request before a possible service agreement and your consent to be contacted.

Processors and tools

Requests are processed through Netlify and stored in Supabase. WhatsApp may be used for follow-up messages if you choose that channel. The site also uses Simple Analytics for privacy-friendly website statistics without cookies. These providers may process data outside Portugal under their own safeguards.

Retention

Booking request records are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted unless there is an active booking, legal need or ongoing customer relationship.

Internal prioritisation

The form may calculate a simple internal priority score, for example short notice, medication or multiple cats. It helps reply faster and does not make automated decisions or refuse service.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive your personal data, and you can object to certain processing. Email the contact above and the request will be handled as soon as practical.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD, at cnpd.pt.
